Welcome to November! It’s been an interesting time here in the oil patch over the past few weeks. The economy is certainly affecting much of what everyone is doing and talking about, whether we want it to or not. At time of typing, the Canadian dollar has fallen to its lowest level in three years, oil prices fell to below $70US a bbl, stocks... well... let’s not go there. Sigh. Actually! Let’s focus on some positives! For those of you lucky enough to attend the SEG convention this month, I hope that you find time to appreciate the pure culture that is Vega$ in addition to the geophysical attractions! And, in case you didn’t realize… The holiday season is quickly approaching, which means plenty of opportunities for people to network at industry functions. I am also fully open to bribes of chocolate to get your Grapevine announcements in...just don’t tell Satinder, otherwise I may have to share.
