Western Geophysical has appointed Mike McCormic as Vice President, Marketing. He will be responsible for developing marketing and sales strategy, as well as worldwide account management. McCormic began his career with Western Geophysical in 1964, following graduation from Louisiana State University with a degree in electrical engineering. He has held a variety of management positions in Western's field operations, data processing and multi-client program development/marketing, including Manager of North America Marine Operations and consecutive positions as General Manager of New Ventures, Western Hemisphere, and Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
