I just wanted to send healing thoughts and appreciation to our counterparts to the South. The massive devastation of Hurricane Harvey to Houston and other impacted areas will be felt for years to come, and the efforts of so many to keep the state and their fellow citizens alive (and thriving) is so admirable. It was estimated at one point that Houston received 17x more rainfall during the hurricane than what Calgary received during our “Flood of the Century”. Wow. Appreciation goes out to the SEG who decided to make a statement and have their AGM go forward in Houston in September. Houston is open for business. And please Mother Nature… no more Category 5s like Irma this season either…

T-Wave Golf Tournament Summary

The 9th Annual CSEG T-Wave Golf Tournament took place on June 26th, 2017 at Valley Ridge Golf Club. We were very fortunate and pleased to receive great support from the industry, both in terms of attendance and sponsorship. Our amazing sponsorship committee was able to raise the necessary sponsorship dollars that ensured continued success for the event, and some new contests added a little intrigue and enjoyment as well. We offered a student rate / ‘career transition’ rate which helped us achieve our goal of 144 players attending this year’s event.

A huge ‘Thank You’ goes out to our Sponsors who helped make this event successful in 2017:

The Charity of choice in 2017 was once again the CSEG Foundation. With the continued downturn we believed that giving back through the charitable arm of the CSEG was the right choice so that some of our members can receive the benefits they provide.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the great committee members who made this tournament such a success. The T-Wave wouldn’t exist without the dedication of its volunteer committee members!
